blerf.

I need to stop using my journal to talk ABOUT God and start talking TO God, through my journal.

I'm having trouble processing everything. Things aren't sinking in. Nothing's changing. And by that, I mean my actions, my thoughts, my motives aren't changing... It's like I'm frozen in time, not knowing what to do. What's the next step? Where do I go from here?

This week is midterm week. wed-fri. why am I not studying? why am I sitting on the computer, writing about why I'm not studying? -____-.

People are weird. I love it :D... But psychology=12 years of school... FAILFAILFAIL.

:D you make me happy

yeah thats why i suggested that you make sure that you write your journal to God and not to anyone else.

let me try and answer your question from what I can understand. When you first came to Christ, your focus is completely on Christ right? You and God shared a deep intimacy? I'm sure you can remember.

But you also have to remember that by nature we are still sinful. (remember that before we have the Holy Spirit, 100% of ourselves are completely selfish and sinful right? the only thing we can do is sin.) So as we are being sanctified and changed into the nature of Christ, we still go through times when our sinful desires seek our own benefit rather than God. Does that make sense? Basically what i'm saying is that by nature, you're ALWAYS going to try and leave Christ (important: not the other way around). It is ONLY the Holy Spirit working IN YOU that even allows you to even desire God.

that's why the word of God is so important. As you come to know the word of God and you pray that the HOly Spirit continue to bear fruit in you, God puts more desire in you to come closer to Christ. I hope this make somewhat sense...

Something that sungjae hyung said to me is that the problem with people today is that "their experience is too far ahead of their theology."

that means that when we experience something related to Christ, so many times we don't have the theology to explain what is happening. Thats why we make false assumptions (such as 'God has left me') that are not truths that come from the Bible. Does that make sense? That just shows how important it is to know exactly what's happening to you when you become saved, and what exactly happens when you die, and such.

I hope this helps some... You know I'm always waiting for your questions... thank you for continuing to strive in Christ. Lets continue to prove that the Spirit is in us as we continue to run this race. Remember, it's not US that seeks after God (Romans 3 says that there is none that seeks God). But the Holy Spirit that works IN us that allows us to seek after Him.

:D maybe sometime we can talk about the process of salvation from the start to end. I think it'll help :D

just read romans 7... romans 7 explains a lot of this 'dual' nature that we have

25Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
